Quick Start

1
Open the app

Go to colorandsound.app in any browser.

2
Allow audio access

When prompted, tap or click Allow to let Color and Sound listen to your audio.

3
Play music

Play audio from any source—Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, a local file—and watch the visuals react in real time.

That's it. No account, no download, no setup. The audio visualizer works instantly in your browser.

How to Connect Audio

Color and Sound uses your device's microphone or system audio to capture sound. Here's how to get it working on each browser.

Chrome / Edge (Desktop)

Click the microphone icon in the address bar or click Allow when the permission prompt appears. Once granted, play audio from any tab—Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, local files—and Color and Sound will visualize it.

Safari (macOS)

Click Allow when prompted for microphone access. Safari works with system audio on macOS, so any audio playing on your Mac will be captured.

Firefox (Desktop)

Allow the microphone permission when prompted. Firefox works with audio from any source playing on your device.

iOS (Safari)

Tap Allow when the permission dialog appears. Works best with music playing from another app (Apple Music, Spotify, etc.) while Color and Sound is open in Safari. Make sure your device isn't on silent mode.

Android (Chrome)

Tap Allow when prompted for microphone access. Works with any audio source playing on your device.

How to Change Presets
